Dear Chilo:
You are my little partner in silliness. I love how you try to mirror everything, including silly stuff that everyone wishes you wouldn’t copy (except for me). I’ve been fake sneezing with you for about a year now. Whenever I “a…a…ACHOO!” you crack up, like it’s one of the funniest things you have ever heard.
Last week I heard you sneeze and just as I was about to say “gesundheit” you did it again, and again, and again. Unbeknownst to me, you had been watching and trying your hardest to figure out how to copy my faux sneeze. And once you did it, you never stopped. We fake sneeze during playtime, in the car, and much to everyone’s chagrin, at restaurants. It’s even gotten so crazy that your mom has threatened to seat us together if we don’t behave. (That’s what we want anyway!)
So now whenever I sneeze (be it real or fake), I think of you. Achoo!
